Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques including the Pulstar instrument adjusting. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. This instrument is able to do pre and post adjustment evaluations for spinal stiffness.  This allows us to give the patient the most accurate treatment, and check if the proper change has been made in the spine.  If your a patient, who has been uneasy with the "cracking or popping" sound that is usually heard with a manual adjustment, this may be the perfect way to adjust you.  There is no discomfort or "popping" noise associated with this system.  And as for all the patients who prefer manual chiropractic manipulation, I have had over 22 years of training and experience in spinal adjustments.

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression

Massage Therapy

We at Engelmann Chiropractic Spinal Aid Center are proud to have one of the best massage therapist in Miami-Dade County working with us.  Luz Salazar, L.M.T. has been practicing massage for over 10 years.  She specializes in deep tissue massage, along with myofascial release techniques, and neuromuscular re-education.  She also practices Thai relaxation massage, which helps tremendously with stress reduction, and another therapy called Cranial Sacral Technique.  She sees patients: Monday thru Friday at our same hours.  She normally will see patient in 30 minute, and 60 minute increments.

Laser Therapy or (photobiomodulation)

Laser Therapy or "photobiomodulation", is the use of specific wavelengths of light ( red and near infared ) to create therapeautic effects.  These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation, and decreased swelling.

Corrective Exercises

Our office has "State of the Art" core strengthening equipment on the premises to help patients strengthen and stabilize their spinal musculature.  We use Med-X core strengthening machines for the lower back and cervical spine, along with the ATM-2.  The ATM-2 is a unique apparatus that targets the small inter and intra spinal muscles that surround the spine, by using stabilized isometric exercises which can help eliminate a painful movement syndrome.  This unique therapy provides specific neuromuscular re-education, helping the CNS (central nervous system) to re-program painful movements.  We are one of the only offices in Miami-Dade County to offer this treatment.

We also teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Lifestyle Advice

We often find it helpful to "coach" our patients on certain activities they should avoid or do differently to avoid aggravating their particular health challenge. Our goal is to help every patient achieve a fulfilling and happy lifestyle full of the activities they enjoy most.
